Benefits

At Brown, Postdoctoral Research Associates receive a salary and Postdoctoral Fellows receive a stipend, but the minimum requirements for both are similar.
Most full-time postdocs at Brown are eligible to participate in the University's medical and dental plans, though the payment structure varies with the type of postdoctoral position

Policies

The Division of Biology & Medicine, along with most of the agencies that sponsor biomedical research, require instruction in the Responsible Conduct of Research.
Postdoctoral researchers are covered by Brown's policies relating to responsible conduct.
