Reference Document Request Form
Postdoctoral appointees may undertake compensated outside work in accordance with University policy. Eligibility depends on several factors, including appointment type, funding source, and—if applicable—the terms of the individual’s visa. All postdoctoral appointees must comply with University policies on conflict of interest and commitment and outside professional activities, including intellectual property and the use of University resources.
Each request will be reviewed by the cognizant dean’s office on a case-by-case basis and, as needed, in consultation with other University partners such as the Office of Sponsored Projects, BioMed Research Administration, International Students and Scholar Services (ISSS), or the Office of the Dean of the Faculty.
For general guidance, please review this reference document. While this document cannot address every possible scenario, it may help you determine whether your request aligns generally with existing guidelines and policies.
