During the week of Monday, September 18 - Friday, September 22, the Office of University Postdoctoral Affairs invites all Brown postdoctoral scholars to join us in celebrating National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW)! NPAW is an annual celebration of the vital contributions postdocs make to the university and our community. Below are details about the NPAW events and giveaways that are free and open to all Brown postdocs.

NPAW 2023: Giveaway
As part of NPAW 2023, OUPA is giving away 25 The North Face backpacks embroidered with the Brown University logo.
To enter this raffle, please complete this form by 11:59 AM on Monday, September 18. The entry form will close at noon that day. Winners will be notified via email and can pick up their prizes during Postdoctoberfest at the Brown Faculty Club or from the OUPA office by appointment.
Please note: only one prize will be awarded per postdoc. You only need to submit one entry to be considered for the giveaway.

NPAW 2023: Postdoctoberfest
In celebration of NPAW 2023, OUPA invites you to Postdoctoberfest, a fun event for Brown postdocs on Monday, September 18 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown Faculty Club! This free event will include soft pretzels, sausages, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Attendees also will receive a free canvas tote bag from OUPA (while supplies last). Please register in advance to help us ensure sufficient food and drink.

NPAW 2023: Campus Tour for Postdocs
As part of NPAW 2023, you're invited to attend a walking tour of Brown's campus just for postdocs on Wednesday, September 20 at 1:00 PM. This free event is an opportunity to learn more about the Brown University campus and landmarks.
Please register in advance and meet at the Bronze Bruno statue on the Main Green near the Stephen Robert '62 Campus Center shortly before 1:00 PM. Click here for the location on Google Maps.

NPAW 2023: Headshot Photos for Postdocs
In celebration of NPAW 2023, OUPA is offering free professional headshots to Brown postdocs on Wednesday, September 20 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM! Each participating postdoc will have a 5-minute timeslot with a professional photographer.
Please note: There are a limited number of timeslots available, advance registration is required, and no walk-ins can be accommodated. Thank you for understanding.
